               YOU SHOULD HAVE RECEIVED THE GSYC VALENTINE'S PARTY FLYER. THE PARTY IS SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY EVENING, FEBRUARY, 17, 2007. THE GROSSLICHTS WILL BE TAKING RESERVATIONS. YOU MAY CALL THEM AT 973/598-1094.

 

        THE FIRST BOARD OF GOVENOR'S MEETING OF THE GSYC FOR 2007 WILL TAKE PLACE ON SUPER BOWL SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 2007 AT 3 PM.    

 

 

 

On Board News:

             Mike and Sandy Unger have been keeping us informed during their journey to the bottom of the earth. We told them they may ask any penguin to a GSYC BALL because they are already dressed for the occasion. The last we heard they were touring Chili and having a fabulous time.

 

     On a serious note:

 

         According to the Star Ledger, the Lake Hopatcong Commission is not being funded by the State for the coming year. This means that the lake's weed problem will not be addressed as it has in the past. There is a meeting scheduled for those who wish to express their opinion and convince the State to continue funding for weed removal. The meeting is scheduled for THURSDAY, JANUARY 25, 2007 at 7 PM sharp, at Camp Jefferson, 81 Weldon Road, Jefferson Township, NJ. Jefferson's Mayor, Russ Felser, will host the meeting.
