| Good morning. As you may have seen in various local publications, the Jefferson Township Arts Committee is hosting the annual Lake Hopatcong Boat Parade on June 18th. The parade is open to anyone who would like to join. It will begin at the north end of the lake and boats are asked to congregate there at 10:45 for an 11:00 start. Sailboats ( under power ) should congregate on the south side of Brady Bridge and join the end of the parade as it passes under the bridge. The parade will circulate the lake and end in front of the Lake Forest Yacht Club where refreshments will be available. Due to limited docking space, everyone is asked to return to the club via car. The parade is estimated to take approx. 2 hrs. Although not required to participate, boaters are encouraged to decorate their boats in the parade theme of " Welcome to Summer 2006 " Prizes will be awarded for Best Decorated; Most Original & Best Classic.
