DASHES AND NOTES FROM THE COMMODORE

 

Dear Fellow Club Members,

 

    I am pleased to forward the following email from Arthur Meranus:

 

Its Wednesday at 9:30 am
I'm finally home from the hospital
The surgery was successful in removing a mass from my right lung. They seem to have gotten it all.
No chemo, no sign of anything else.
Will have to pay close attention to some artery issues that showed up. But for now I'm OK.
Should have listened sooner.
When you're in the hospital on a heart monitor, you regret every steak and donut you ever had.
MOSTLY, I want to thank all of you for your concern and prayers.
I have seen the GSYC rally to support our members countless times, but you don't fully understand the power of it until its you that has the problem.
