DASHES AND NOTES FROM THE COMMODORE

Thank you Miriam and Gabe Torok and Kathi and Michael Schulman for hosting a fabulous Hungarian Evening. The authentic Hungarian food was superb and the entertainment of a Gypsy Troupe was terrific. We appreciate all the hard work these two couples put into this very successful event.

In honor of Sheila and Paul Siegel's 40th wedding anniversary their children, Michael and Alex Siegel and Jill and Phil Weiss treated the club to wine on every table. Happy Anniversary to our wonderful weather committee and thank you Siegel children.

Thank you to Harry Tuber for arranging a boat safety course on Saturday and Sunday. According to Harry on Sunday morning, every member who took the course passed the test and will receive a certificate from the State of NJ.

COMING ATTRACTIONS:

Friday, August 24, 2007 we will be having A NIGHT IN MOSCOW with live music and a Russian singer. This will be hosted by Carol and Frank Gingerelli (973/927-0328) and Sue and Tom Newmann (973/992-5059) Please call for reservations.

Saturday, August 25, 2007 at 7 PM is our club show. This year we are performing a concert version of GYSPY. Some of our club members have worked very hard for your entertainment and we would like to see the entire club come out to support our troupe.
