DASHES AND NOTES FROM THE COMMODORE

Last night's Valentine's Party was a huge success. Members and their guests entered the club to a roaring fire, great hor d'oeuvres and deep conversations as everyone talked and gabbed and talked and drank and ate! The living room and dining room looked wonderful in hearts and red roses and chocolates thanks to Bobbie and Jerry Grosslicht. Our pretty blonde and talented DJ, Peach, from Maurice's Party Animals, led us in a wild time on the dance floor, and after dinner nary a person was sitting at a table as the dance floor rocked! We hope to have Peach return. The food was plentiful and good, thanks to our chef, Rick, and everyone had a great time!

I received a wonderful thank you note from Al Kamine. He is now in Kessler in West Orange. He thanked the club for the beautiful roses we sent. Al thanks everyone who visited him and phoned Fern at home and looks forward to seeing everyone soon.

I would also like to congratulate PC Lowell Harwood and Toby Harwood on their induction to the Kean University Athletic Hall of Fame as Benefactors. We are very proud of them.
