DASHES AND NOTES FROM THE COMMODORE

Dear Fellow Members,

          I would like to thank Bonnie and Bob Margolies for the spectacular job they did as hosts of our Mother's Day Brunch. The decorations were incredible. Rick's food, especially his omelet station was superb. We all also enjoyed the make your own sundaes to top off the afternoon. We are sorry if you missed this event. However, Father's Day Brunch should be equally spectacular and will also be hosted by the Margolies.

          Starting with the Friday of Memorial Day Weekend and every Friday thereafter, the GSYC will have a � Beat The Traffic Very Happy Hour!! It will be from 4:45 PM to 6:45 PM. Come and extend your weekend! Miss the traffic on the way up to the club, and be treated to free hors d'oeuvres, bar snacks and treats.

          A friendly reminder: We have a great Memorial Day Weekend planned. Friday, May, 25^th is a buffet and The Highlander Jazz Trio. Saturday, May 26^th is the Memorial Day Ball. Sunday, May 27^th is our General Membership Meeting Buffet dinner. The Dessert will be my treat. Monday is the Memorial Day Picnic.
